The rest in the meadow

Feb. 4, 2008

Hello,

As we all have noticed, the energy has not changed a great deal just yet. However, unless we are one of those individuals who is organized in our paper work, Mercury is playing a large part in helping us to make our life simple and more organized. As we try to start our new beginnings, Mercury is showing us that what we have done with documents and filing systems needs to be clearer and more organized. Mercury is a great teacher, although it may not be our favorite right now. It is exceptional at complicating communication, hiding papers, and misplacing important information. This is what reminds us to change the manner in which we keep such things so that it will work better for us in our future steps along our path.

The way the world works, we must show where we have been in order to proceed to where we are wanting to go. Most of us, once we have passed a certain point want to leave the old behind. We tend not to give it much energy or attention. We don't want to go dredging up where we were, and what we did. We wonder..." Where the heck did I put that anyway"? We want to move forward on the path!

This is where documentation can be an issue during Mercury retrograde in a new beginning year. If we want to buy a new house, if we want to refinance, if we want to get a new job. All of these things and more need the documentation to support who we are and where we have been in order to become more, or to change any part of our life.

This is a time of revewing, so that once Mercury goes direct again on Feb. 19th we will not be held back with things that have not been well thought out, or with finding what we need to take with us.

This is that meadow we spoke of last week where we put everything down and reorganize and let go of what no longer serves us. It is a time for being still, for thinking of what we truly want. And to let go of what we do not want. We need to take some time to relax, lay down and look at the clouds above us, or snuggle in a blanket in front of the fire. There is a need for us to nurture ourselves because of what we have just left behind in 2007. Even if we are not yet ready to let go, or it seems that it will never leave! We must focus on that which we do want, otherwise what we are in resistance to will continue to follow us and try to engage us.

At this particular Mercury retrograde with a new beginning year, there are many things we want to change and let go of that do not seem willing to go away. We are having difficulty for all kinds of reasons, to make them a thing of the past. We must focus on what we want. We must not give those things we want to leave behind any energy. As is stated in the book "The Secret." Energy flows where our focus goes. So where is our focus? Where ever it is, it will be the most prominent in our life, because it is most likely getting the most attention.

So while we are sitting in that meadow for this time frame, before it is time to pack up again, it is a must to look at what we take with us, when it is time to move forward. Is it what we want? Or are we carring it for others? Does it make our load heavier or lighter? How often does it assist us on our journey? Does it help us to shine?

Our channel Judi, use to carry what she now calls her "save the world purse". In this purse she had band aids, toys for kids, chewing gum, pencils and pens, crayons, a tablet of paper, asprin, bobby pins (oops! sorry dating her), safety pins, hair brush, hair spray, you name it she had it. Her thought was she would be able to assist in any emergency! It was thinking like that, that brought a lot of people to her with emergencies! It created a life of a lot of people that needed her help. It was exhausting! Once she changed her focus onto herself, and what she wanted. She learned to begin to trust others to take care of themselves. That is when things began to change. It wasn't long before she began her spiritual journey. This is how we ended up here on this blog. She still has a need to assist others because that is who she is. However now it is in an inspirational way. A way that frees her to be who she wants to be. Carrying what she wants to carry on her path. She chooses when to share along the way with those who are interested.

So in closing this week, we want to ask. Are you clear on what you want to take with you? Are you a light packer? Or a save the world kind of packer? And last but not least. Is your focus where you want your energy to go?

Farewell, Yaz
